I am a real pizza lover! And before I started to eat clean I backed my own home made pizza every time. And it was sooo delicious. When you take the fresh backed pizza out of the owen…it will fill your house with delightful smells.
When I first heard about the cauliflower crust pizza, I was a little bit skeptical, because the pizza base shouldn’t taste like cauliflower… But my curiosity didn’t let me…so I tried it anyway. I’ve thought it cannot be that bad. And it wasn’t! It was delicious healthy, yummy pizza. Once you try it for sure you will make it again and again and again… ツ
So here it is, the recipe adopted from www.tastykitchen.com but as usual I made my own changes to fit more to my taste.
The Guilt Free Pizza aka. Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Ingredients:
• 1/2 head Cauliflower
• 50 gr cheese (of choice, I used emmental)
• salt
• dried basil
• dried oregano
• garlic powder
• pepper
• 1 tbsp almond meal (optional)
• 1 egg
Preparation:
1. Add the cauliflower to the food processor and pulse until you get the “snow” texture
2. Microwave it for 10 seconds then let it cool down
3. Place it in a paper towel and squeeze the water out of the cauliflower
4. Add in the egg (beaten), grated cheese and the spices and mix the mixture until combined
5. Form the dough into a ball, and place it on a backing paper. Then form the dough into pizza shape and bake it for 15-20 minutes at 200 °C.
6. Now add your toppings (I used tomato sauce spiced with garlic powder, oregano, basil + spinat +salmon + grated cheese) and bake it for another 5 minutes. Bon appétit!
